Our Process
With a Passion for Quality
Choosing the right remodeling contractor is the first and most important decision to be made in the remodeling process. Does the Company have enough experience? Is the remodeling contractor bonded and insured? Can we get along together for an extended length of time? How does the billing process work? These are relevant questions to explore. When you decide to remodel your home, you are making a large commitment of your time and finances. You need to know that both your money and time will be handled in a professional manner: that all expenses are properly recorded and accounted for, and that the project runs on schedule. More importantly however, you want the assurance that the remodeling company you have hired and its employees are people that you can trust. Remodeling differs from new construction in many ways, the biggest being that most of the time the homeowners are occupying the residence while the project is taking place. Workers must be aware of homeowners’ needs for cleanliness and privacy. In remodeling there are also hidden obstacles that are not revealed until the demolition of walls, roof, and floors is underway. With these factors in mind, remodeling can be tricky. We are remodeling & cabinetry specialists; remodeling and cabinetry, flooring, granite is our primary business. We are trained to deal with these situations and solve problems before they grow into larger disasters. Kitchen Krafters-LLC has been renovating homes for 25 years. The company was started by Roger Wittig, who has been designing and creating beautiful home improvements with his hands on approach and his meticulous attention for detail. He has been able to grow and establish his company as one of the top residential remodeling companies in Southeastern WIsconsin by providing professional service with the trust you expect. With 25 years of home remodeling, we have the experience and expertise that can turn your current residence into the dream home you have always wanted.
Roger was highly professional from the start, and offered a creative touch throughout the project, thanks in large part to his extensive experience that he was always willing to share. He is a pleasant person to deal with, and even though we hired him for what we saw as a major project, he was very cost conscious, and always consulted us on different options that would routinely come up. He was always on time, and finished things when he said he would. He has very good follow up skills, is well connected to other sources, and is extremely reliable. We enjoyed having him do the work for us, LOVE the result, and would happily welcome him back to do other projects in the future.

Step 2 - Design the New Space
In this phase we work to develop a design that meets your needs and choose finishes that reflect your style.
Throughout this phase of the project we work on meeting your budget while focusing on a truly beautiful functional space.
One of the most important advantages of the design build process is that it allows you to feel more confident about estimated costs and feel more secure about staying within your budget as we do an itemized summary of the design.
Step 3 - The Construction Agreement
At this point in the process, you’ve approved the design including floor plans, and product selections and been given the price for your project. Once you sign the construction agreement, we start with a schedule that is developed for the project and construction begins. As an added bonus, the design build process saves you valuable time. You won’t experience the delay of putting your project “out to bid” between design and construction because Roger manages the entire schedule, from our initial conversation to the hammering of the final nail. Kitchen Krafters works hard to keep you informed and as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process – especially during the construction. All that’s left now is for you to enjoy your new space!
